Electronic System Architect (m/f/d) - Minebea AccessSolutions

Based in Erdweg near Munich, Minebea AccessSolutions Deutschland GmbH acts as a competence center with global research and development responsibility in the area of access mechanisms. Our product portfolio includes electronic steering column locks, door handles and automatic power closure systems for different applications around the vehicle.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Responsibility for system architecture and system design
  • Development and modelling of complex systems, taking into consideration mechanics, hardware and software
  • Creating and optimising the system architecture using SysML/UML tools
  • Ensuring the traceability of requirements through to implementation (tracability)
  • Analysing and evaluating customer requirements in terms of feasibility, risk and performance
  • Derivation of system specifications and coordination with customers and internal departments
  • Defining and evaluating new system solutions for access systems with a focus on functional safety and cyber security
  • Carrying out simulations and tests to validate the system architecture
  • Release of system specifications and system parameters based on tests and simulations
  • Close collaboration with internal teams and external partners to implement the concepts

Required skills and experience:

  • Degree in electrical engineering, automotive engineering, computer science, mechatronics or a comparable specialisation
  • Several years of experience in system development in the automotive industry
  • Sound knowledge of A-SPICE, ISO 26262 and common communication protocols such as CAN, LIN, Ethernet, etc.
  • Confident handling of modelling and simulation tools such as SysML/UML, Matlab/Simulink
