Field Sales Represantative (m/f/d) - Sales

Our product portfolio includes high-resolution platform scales, load cells, vessel and silo scales, checkweighers, metal detectors, X-ray inspection systems and intuitive software solutions. Location: work from home with travel to customer locations throughout the US and Canada (Corporate Office in Holbrook, NY)

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • identify and qualify opportunities from lead generation activities, inbound product inquires and outbound calling into targeted lists
  • penetrate and develop key contacts within prospect accounts
  • develop an effective pipeline of new projects and customers
  • meet or exceed monthly, quarterly and annual goals
  • use understanding of internal processes to effectively execute the sales cycle
  • work on special projects as needed
  • visit customers for Meetings and Product-Demonstrations (available for travel up to 75%)
  • participate in sales meetings, visit trade shows and internal product training in order to maintain up to date knowledge of current technology
  • perform other duties as related to the job function as require
 

Qualifications:

 

  • a minimum experience of one year of lead generation
  • excellent phone and computer skills (Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • BS/BA Degree Marketing/Business preferred
  • knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes preferred
  • ability to work independently and manage time efficiently
  • highly organized and able to maintain high productivity and standards with minimal oversight
  • excellent communication skills, ability to interact and communicate with individuals no matter their levels in the organization
  • ability to understand others perspective to generate opportunities, able to use consultative selling skills to clearly understand customers´business requirements
  • be self-directed and capable of prioritizing opportunities and performing multiple tasks
  • knowledge of industrial manufacturing processes
