Supply Chain Coordinator (m/w/d) Parental Leave Cover

As part of our European Industrial Business Solutions (EIBS) team in Neu-Isenburg, you will play a central role in driving seamless communication and logistical flow between our European operations and manufacturing partners in Asia. This position is initially fixed-term until March 2029 as part of a parental leave cover.

Your Daily Responsibilities

Assist the Coordination Manager in driving effective communication and operational alignment with global factories
Coordinate daily operations and supply scheduling with manufacturing plants located in Asia.
Inventory management and projection of strategic inventory
Control international airfreight expenditure, ensuring cost-efficiency and regular reporting to the Business Unit
Consolidate production forecasts for manufacturing plants and maintain internal transfer pricing data
Track and support new project rollouts through to Start of Production (SOP)
Provide operational support to local team members coordinating with overseas MMSE factories in Asia

Your Profile

Completed vocational training (e.g., in logistics, freight forwarding, or international trade) or a degree in a business/logistics-related field
Professional experience in logistics, supply chain management, or coordinating with overseas manufacturing plants (experience with Asian markets is a distinct plus)
Strong understanding of inventory planning, stock control, and logistics processes across sea and air freight
Proficiency with ERP software (e.g., AS 400), CRM systems, and standard supply chain tracking tools
Advanced proficiency in MS Office (especially Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting)
Strong numerical reasoning combined with an independent, analytical, and solution-oriented work ethic
Fluent communication skills in English and German (written and spoken); knowledge of Japanese or Chinese is plus
Excellent intercultural communication and coordination skills with a diplomatic approach to engaging global stakeholders
High degree of reliability, adaptability and the ability to manage sudden plan changes in a rapidly evolving business environment.
