Based in Erdweg near Munich, Minebea AccessSolutions Deutschland GmbH acts as a competence center with global research and development responsibility in the area of access mechanisms. Our product portfolio includes electronic steering column locks, door handles and automatic power closure systems for different applications around the vehicle.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Requirements management: analysing customer specifications, deriving system specifications and coordinating with the customer and the development teams
- Creation of innovative system concepts consisting of mechanical, hardware and software components in the field of locking systems, taking functional safety requirements into account
- Specification and verification of system functions by means of tests and simulations as well as approval of system parameters based on trials
- Guiding the test team during system tests to determine parameters and specify the tests with the aim of guaranteeing the system function under specification conditions
- Carrying out functional analyses, system analyses and system FMEAs as well as creating and analysing system requirement specifications
- Defining and adapting application and system test strategies
- Participation in pre-development and series projects
- Carrying out technical reviews, taking into account internal and external requirements, quality aspects and ISO 26262
- Contributing to the definition of development standards, guidelines and checklists.
Required skills and experience:
- Degree in systems engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, automotive engineering or comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience as a systems engineer, hardware or software developer in the automotive sector
- Sound knowledge of requirements management and systems engineering methods and tools, such as concept design, system decomposition and modelling (e.g. according to SYSML)
- Knowledge of configuration management concepts and products (e.g. SVN) is an advantage
- Experience with development processes according to ASPICE and ISO 26262 as well as basic knowledge of standards such as AUTOSAR, diagnostics and bus systems such as CAN, LIN, MOST, Ethernet, BLE or UWB are an advantage
- Experience in dealing with intercultural teams, combined with persuasiveness and assertiveness
- Initiative, systematic and structured way of working
- Very good written and spoken German and English.
